Woven Legacies: A Centennial Celebration of Black Expression

Stem & Vine, in partnership with the Black Art Today Foundation presents "Woven Legacies: A Centennial Celebration of Black Expression," at Stem & Vine (326 N Charles St, Baltimore, Maryland). This exhibition will be on view from February 1, 2026, to May 2, 2026. In honor of the 2026 Black History Month theme, "A Century of Black History Commemorations," this exhibition marks the 100th anniversary of the movement to formally recognize Black history. "Woven Legacies" explores how art has served as the primary thread connecting our past, present, and future over the last century—acting as both a vessel for memory and a blueprint for liberation. This exhibit is partially funded by MSAC.

Journey by Erasto Curtis Matthews - Neiman Marcus Tysons Galleria Community Arts Program

In honor of Black Heritage and Culture Month, Neiman Marcus Tysons Galleria, in partnership with The Black Art Today Foundation, is proud to present "Journey," a solo exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Erasto Curtis Matthews. This curated collection invites viewers to explore the richness, diversity, and excellence of Black artistry through a lens of cultural reclamation and personal transformation.

This exhibit will be on view from February 2- 28, 2026.

KUUMBA V Sankofa: The Art of Remembrance

KUUMBA V Sankofa: The Art of Remembrance

In partnership with Neiman Marcus Tysons Galleria, The Black Art Today Foundation presents KUUMBA V - Sankofa: The Art of Remembrance.  KUUMBA V - Sankofa: The Art of Remembrance, we explores the "egg" as the creative genius, the stories, and the resilience that African Americans have carried through a century of formal commemoration. This exhibition is a visual bridge: it looks back at 100 years of Black history celebrations (1926–2026) while using the sixth principle of Kwanzaa—Kuumba (Creativity)—to build the next century of Black expression.
